This is a worthy competitor in today’s market because this pillowcase is also made from pure 19 momme mulberry silk, which is really pleasant to touch and sleep on. The momme count is lower, so we couldn’t rank Alaska Bear any higher, but it’s an overall nice product. This pillowcase is also OEKO-TEX certified, which means that it’s made from non-toxic materials without any harmful substances. Alaska Bear is entirely skin and eco-friendly.
Comfort and Design
There is no doubt that Alaska Bear is – like most silk products - very comfortable and pleasant to use. There is a hidden zipper that ensures your pillow doesn’t slip out of the case. When you look at this pillowcase, you can tell that it’s beautifully finished and the interior edges are nicely stitched over, so there is nothing to complain about in this department. What we also liked is the fact that it comes with a silk scrunchie which also works wonders for your hair. A pleasant bonus indeed!

Generally speaking, this Alaska Bear silk pillowcase is a decent option. Its momme count is only 19 and while this number is still relatively high, there were other silk pillowcases on our list with a higher momme count. That’s why we couldn’t rank Alaska Bear any higher. But if we had to evaluate, then it’s safe to say that the quality matches the price.
