Brooklinen
Main features
Coming fourth on our list is a pillowcase from Brooklinen. Just like all other pillowcases on our list, Brooklinen makes their products out of 100% pure mulberry silk. However, they don’t specify the momme count, which is an imperative part of every evaluation formula. For this reason, we couldn’t rank Brooklinen any higher because it gives a little room for doubting the integrity of this pillowcase. On the other hand, it’s OEKO-TEX certified for chemical safety, so you can at least know it won’t damage your skin or your hair.
Comfort and Design
What we didn’t really like about Brooklinen is that it has an envelope closure. While some people probably won’t mind it, there are people who would find that annoying. It’s a universally accepted fact that zippered pillowcases are generally more comfortable to use. On the other hand, Brooklinen has more fun designs to choose from, so if you’re not a fan of basic colors like white, beige, or black, then Brooklinen might have something for you. Care instructions are simple too – cold wash on a gentle cycle with a pH neutral detergent and lay flat to dry.
😴 Value
All things considered, Brooklinen pillowcases look cute, but they cost a pretty penny and we have reason to question the quality of these pillowcases. Usually, every brand proudly states the momme count of their silk product, but Brooklinen didn’t do that. Other than that, we greatly appreciate multiple designs, so if that’s what you’re looking for, then you might be satisfied with this brand.
